Turck has released a new line of 3- and 4-pin M8 picofast insulation avoidance connectors (IACs) for field wiring The picofast IAC connectors are an easy, inexpensive, and reliable replacement for in-field repairs to damaged moulded cordsets

IACs are designed to provide easy assembly, and as no soldering is required, they can also be installed practically anywhere.

This "tool-less" design requires only a wire cutter for assembly (no wire stripping is required).

The contact holders are colour coded to match standard conductor colours, providing easy, worry-free installation.

The IAC connectors are designed to handle 22-26AWG conductors and are rated for 4.0 A at 60 VAC/75 VDC.

The IAC is offered in male or female configurations, with a cage clamp strain relief that provides an IP 68 seal.

This makes the picofast field wireable connector a perfect mate for Turck junction boxes and receptacles.
