First triple-certification client for TUV PS

Leading manufacturer of playground equipment and safety surfacing Sutcliffe Play has become TUV Product Services' first triple-certification client.

With mainland Europe its biggest export market, Sutcliffe Play uses TUV Product Service for product certification because of the general acceptability of the TUV GS mark.

The company originally used another service provider for certification of its ISO 9001 quality system and the establishment of the ISO 14001 environmental management system.

Recently, however, Sutcliffe Play invited quotations for a combined annual audit for both product and management systems certifications, and found TUV Product Service to be the most attractive.

"We were persuaded by considerations of cost-efficiency and convenience to single-source our certification requirements", comments managing director Robin Sutcliffe.

"Not only were we able to secure a very competitive rate from TUV Product Service, but we also believe the company's name carries more weight worldwide.
