The iTS Card System from Tyco Electronics can generate and produce signs and labels containing variable information, which can be printed out as graphics, logos, barcodes and text onto a range of flexible or rigid materials.
It is ideal for labelling controls, panels, equipment, switches and cables, across a broad range of equipment and components.
This advanced system comprises multiformat cards, a thermal transfer printer and Tyco Electronics' proprietary software.

Range of approaches to cable and fibre ID
For wire, cable and optical fibre identification, Tyco Electronics offers everything from traditional self-assemble markers, through computer-printable products, to laser engraving systems
The cards are available in a choice of rigid or flexible materials including ABS, PVC and polyamide fixings.
Fixings include screw-in, rivet and a high performance pressure sensitive adhesive with excellent adhesion and fluid resistance.
Within the choice of formats are prepunched shapes compatible with the major manufacturers' buttons and switches.
The fast thermal transfer printer has a high temperature print head and high performance ribbon to achieve superior mark permanence with resistance to abrasion, most oils, solvents, grease, water, alcohol and cleaning fluids.
It offers excellent 300dot/in quality for sharpness of graphics and barcoding.
Automatic thickness calibration allows printing of items from 0.3 to 1.5mm thickness and in widths from 40 to 90mm, without any adjustment.
The printer can handle the smallest of signs through to signs with a printable area up to 54 x 300mm.
At the heart of the system is Tyco Electronics' advanced software - a highly visual and easy to use label design program designed to create, store, edit, import and print data either manually or from data files.
It is equally effective whether loading complex requirements containing variable information or preparing batch runs.
The software also offers the capability to print from multiple files and/or to multiple printers with data import from CAD system and mainframe databases.
Supplied in a choice of languages, it comes preloaded with Tyco Electronics' extensive range of identification products, printer drivers and access to a range of fonts, graphics, barcodes and logos.
The iTS thermal transfer card printing system provides industrial and commercial OEMs or machine assembly shops with the independence to take complete control of the generation and production of their product signage.
It allows users to produce on-site as many markers as required, as often as required and precisely when required.
Tyco Electronics takes responsibility for on-site installation and setup of the system, and provides comprehensive operator training in the use of the multifaceted iTS Card System. Request a free brochure from Tyco Electronics - Identification Products ...
