New HarnWare website goes live
New HarnWare website goes live and includes preview of 3d design software.
Tyco Electronics has launched harnware.com - a new website dedicated to its advanced Raychem HarnWare electrical harness design software and featuring previews of a new 3D software package and other major new developments Capable of delivering 90% savings on conventional electrical harness design time, HarnWare is designed for interactive use by design engineers and harness builders to simplify and speed up the evaluation and preparation of optimum harness configurations
The new website updates existing users on the new and enhanced design and output features for extending system capability with facilities for accessing software fixes and upgrades.
It is also designed to provide a technical support service and includes a discussion forum to enable designers, builders and users of electrical harnesses to make contact with others.
harnware.com is also an information site for potential customers where they can find a comprehensive, yet user-friendly, introduction to HarnWare's design capability and examples of the detailed documentation that can be generated.
Visitors to the site will also have the opportunity to see previews of major new HarnWare developments, due for introduction later this year, including an advanced 3D Software package that allows the visualising of harness designs as virtual prototypes.
Another previewed feature is the facility to produce actual size Lay-up/Loom Board Drawings, with variable layout configuration for board size compatibility.
These 1:1 charts offer significant savings in preparation time as, when laid on the board, they indicate the accurate pin positioning. Request a free brochure from Tyco Electronics - Identification Products ...
