Starline Ball Valves is the exclusive importer in the UK and Ireland for the well established and highly renowned range of Starline three-piece ball valves.
The agreement includes the full range of cast steel ball valves designed and manufactured by Pekos at its TUV, DNV and Lloyds approved foundry in Spain, exclusively stocked in the UK by AC Valves and Controls.
Pekos ball valve stocks cover sizes from 0.5 to 12in flanged ANSI 150 and 300 raised face, full and reduced bore with ISO5211 top flange for easy assembly of actuators and accessories.
DIN PN 16/40 full bore are also stocked and three- and four-way valves are also available.
The Pekos manufacturing programme includes wafer pattern ball valves, steam jacketed ball valves and tank bottom valves.
Standard materials include carbon steel WCC, stainless steel CF8M and cast iron.
Special materials including LCC, duplex and bronze are also available.
Considerable component stocks held in Spain support the UK stockholding of valves.
Part assembled units enable the factory to build valves quickly to precise customer specifications with little or no premium in price, including valves with carbon/graphite steam seats.
Pekos valves have API 6D, TUV and Lloyd's type approval and have been fire tested to BS6755 part 2, verified by Lloyds to cover the complete range.
NACE conformity and DIN 3.1.B certification is standard.
Pekos holds both PED and ISO9001 Lloyds approval, and AC Valves and Controls has been assessed and approved to hold ISO9002 QA.
