ATEX certification for pressure gauges

To comply with the latest ATEX regulations Ashcroft is now offering ATEX certification to EX II 2 GD c on a range on its mechanical equipment.

To comply with the latest ATEX regulations Ashcroft is now offering ATEX certification to EX II 2 GD c on a range on its mechanical equipment.

Ashcroft currently has pressure transducers, pressure switches, differential pressure switches and temperature switches to ATEX requirements.

The latest addition now allows pressure gauges, differential pressure gauges and diaphragm seals to be supplied certified to ATEX.

The specific models in question are the Ashcroft T5500 and T6500 pressure gauges, which are available in stainless steel cases, open front and full safety pattern.

System materials include AISI 316L, Monel 400 and Ni span tube.

Various process connections are available, including 0.5in BSP, 0.5in NPT, M20, 0.375in BSP and 0.25in NPT, and ranges are from -1 to +2500bar.

Numerous diaphragm seal combinations are available to ATEX, choose from screwed connections of flanged.

Diaphragm materials include AISI 316L, AISI 304, K-Monel, nickel, Carpenter 20, tantalum, Hastelloy B, Hastelloy C, Teflon, Viton, Kalrex and titanium.

A selection of fill fluids are offered to meet customer process demands, the most common being glycerin and silicone.

The inert fill fluid Halocarbon is offered for very low process temperatures down to -60C, and Syltherm 800 is specified when process temperatures can reach up to 400C.

Direct or capillary mounting up to 30m in stainless steel armoured or for extra protection PVC sheathing.

The Ashcroft pressure gauges and diaphragm seals are available from stock at UK Instruments and Controls.
