The UKIVA is adding two forum sessions to its popular free seminar programme at the IPOT/Machine Vision Show in February 2005 at the NEC.
The UKIVA committee paid tribute to Graham's achievements as Chairman, which have included a 10% increase in membership.
Richard White instigated a management buyout of Kane Computing from Kane International in October 2001, and he brings a wealth of experience to his role as UKIVA Chairman.
He had previously been divisional manager of Kane Computing, supplying parallel processing, digital signal processing and image processing products to provide solutions to industry, research and education, and helping the company to an enviable position in the UK market.
Richard's main stated objective as UKIVA Chairman is "to ensure that UKIVA activities develop to match the changing needs of vision technology in manufacturing industry in the UK".
He went on to say: "In doing so, the Association will continue to provide a cost effective marketing resource for its members, the suppliers of vision equipment and systems integrators.
I hope that the Association's activities will encourage even more companies to become members".
