Six new members for vision association
Six new companies have recently joined the UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA).

UKIVA Director, Don Braggins, commented: "We are delighted to welcome these new members and they perfectly encapsulate the breadth of companies that make up the UKIVA membership base.
These range from the production of turnkey vision systems through to the sale of components for vision systems, and all points between.
The wide range of markets in which our new members are involved also reflect the growing use of vision technology across manufacturing industry.
These industries include automotive, print, packaging, optical (contact lenses), biomedical, military, semiconductor, polymer, plastics and pharmaceutical".
The new members will enjoy many benefits from being part of the UKIVA, whose sole objective is to promote the use of vision in manufacturing industry.
These include visibility on the UKIVA website which now attracts over 4000 visitors a month and other enhanced marketing opportunities, such as participation in UKIVA seminars, inclusion in the UKIVA newsletter and a regular supply of information on promotional opportunities in the trade and technical press.
In addition, the association is closely involved with the vision market place throughout the world and is rapidly becoming recognised as the first port of call for vision-related enquiries.
It offers free advice via phone or e-mail to enquirers - wherever they are in the world - seeking help in specifying or sourcing vision systems or components.
Enquiries can be sent to all appropriate members if the enquirer so wishes.
