World Member Adimec Advanced Image Systems is a Netherlands-based manufacturer of high performance video cameras for machine vision, and UK member Digital Inspection Systems (DISL) is the official UK distributor managing channel sales through UK resellers and system integrators for software from the Norwegian Scorpion Vision.

Designing cameras for use in medical and defence applications as well as for machine vision enables Adimec to produce high performance camera platforms that can be readily customised for different applications.

In particular the cameras offer high frame rates and excellent image quality.

Adimec cameras have been "designed-in" by leading manufacturers of semiconductor and wafer inspection and metrology equipment.

DISL provides cost-effective machine vision software and solutions as well as training programmes and technology seminars.

The software is designed for skilled production engineers who want to develop and maintain their own vision solutions without having to depend on an external vision systems integrator.

Industries served include manufacturing, food production, packing and packaging, medical, retail and pharmaceutical.
