Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 9, 2005

3DX-Ray is the latest company to join the UK Industrial Vision Association.

The UK Industrial Vision Association has welcomed 3DX-Ray as its newest member.

3DX-Ray offers a modular range of X-ray components, cameras and solutions which can be readily incorporated into industrial and security systems.

The company also produces turnkey X-ray units for laboratory, batch and pilot production industrial and security inspection applications.

UKIVA Director, Don Braggins said: "Earlier this year we announced that it was the UKIVA's intention to broaden its remit to encourage companies involved in alternative methods of imaging such as infra-red, X-ray and ultra-high-speed to become members".

"3DX-Ray are the first to join since that initiative and, indeed, are the Association's first member offering X-ray products".

Established in 1996, 3DX-Ray has developed proprietary, modular software and hardware to provide innovative methods of acquiring, interpreting and presenting X-ray images in either 3D or 2D.

The technology is applicable to a wide range of products in many areas of industry, including automotive, aerospace, electronics, pharmaceutical, waste handling, packaging and food and beverage industries.
