The UK Industrial Vision Association website has been further enhanced with the addition of a new section detailing the availability of vision-related training courses.

The UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) website has been further enhanced with the addition of a new section detailing the availability of vision-related training courses.

This section will allow any organisation to announce that it is holding courses relevant to machine vision and its industrial application.

This facility is not restricted to association members - it is open to all and is completely free of charge.

UKIVA Director, Don Braggins said: "This is another initiative from the association to further develop its website into a truly informative knowledge base for vision".

"The new section is proving to be popular with both commercial and academic organisations".

"Current courses listed range from a one day introduction to image processing, to an MSc in cognitive systems".

The section gives a generalised indication of the courses on offer.

Links to the website of the organisations concerned are provided to allow detailed course contents and information on dates and costs etc to be obtained.

At the time of writing, courses from nine different organisations are listed.
