Aerospace Design Expo North America 2006 is gearing up to present the North American aerospace design community with the best the world has to offer.
The first ever Aerospace Design Expo North America 2006, taking place alongside Aerospace Testing Expo 2006 is gearing up to present the North American aerospace design community with the best the world has to offer From 14th to 16th November 2006 at Anaheim, California, engineers will have access to the latest materials design tools, materials and components from over 150 companies from the USA, Canada, Germany, France, UK, Italy, Scandinavia, the Czech Republic, India and Mexico
All the major software vendors such as Dassault Systemes, PTC, UGS, Algor etc will be demonstrating their latest products and companies such as Synopsys and Wipro will be showing their EDA and embedded systems.
In the world of rapid prototyping EOS and Dimension will be exhibiting alongside some of the best RP bureaux.
Entire plant floor systems, jigs and fixtures and build to print tool design will be represented by leading companies such as Advanced Integration Technology, Pacifica Engineering etc.
Important specialist aerospace materials companies such as Albany Engineered Composites and aerospace fastener businesses like Philips Screw, will be showing alongside other companies showing components including gaskets seals and ducting.
Componeering will demonstrate the new 4.0 version of ESAComp, software for analysis and design of composites, developed with the support of the European Space Agency.
Algor will demonstrate its brand new V20 software featuring a new overall look and feel to Fempro, an easy-to-use, single user interface.
Click Bond will show its new Pinch-Mount bonded brackets, bringing proven bonded fastener technology to bear the challenges of attachment to free flanges.
And J2 Aircraft Dynamics will launch its new J2 Universal Tool-Kit plug-in - J2 Active for accessing aircraft data models from any application and combining easy-to-use model building, maintenance and configuration control with their existing software.
There are more than 60 free-to-attend presentations covering themes such as harmonisation, accelerated development, benefits to business, risk reduction and optimisation and speakers include prominent figures from Boeing, Pratt and Whitney, NASA, Bombardier and Parker Aerospace.
NAFEMS, the worldwide organisation for simulation engineers, is holding a dedicated aerospace seminar at the show on Wednesday 15th November: "FEA and CFD: challenges and best-modelling practices for the aerospace industry".
This will be free to attend for NAFEMS members and open to nonmembers for a small fee.
Aerospace Design Expo 2006 is running concurrently alongside its sister event, Aerospace Testing Expo 2006.
As many of the technologies, simulation, scanning and rapid prototyping are relevant to both the testing and design communities, visitors have free access to both events and ground-breaking conferences at the open technology forums.
In addition, Integrated Condition Management will also take place at the Anaheim Convention Centre which is a fee-paying conference.
