Wiltshire NHS Trust eliminates scale fouling
The North Wilts and Swindon Healthcare NHS Trust has incorporated the latest AquaVantage digital electronic scale control system into a newly refurbished plant room.
System doubles up on water treatment
The AquaVantage Systems Series AVD is based on the trusted and proven AVS Series but has two independent circuits each capable of treating one or more pipes.
UK Water Treatment produces and installs the AquaVantage digital electronic scale control system, which has been adopted by a diverse range of users from NHS Trusts, hospitals, commercial buildings to major production and process companies.
The AquaVantage 'uniquely' induces a transverse pulsed poly-frequency electromagnetic field in the water, forcing scaling calcium ions to form inert non-scaling crystals of calcium carbonate and sulphate to safely wash through the system, preventing scaling of pipework and vital operating components.
The electromagnetic frequency field uses the conductivity of the water to extend protection throughout the entire circulation system.
On opening the new office and depot, Bob Bagley, Sales Engineering Director, said: "Although AquaVantage is relatively new and quite unlike other devices, we are winning more and more orders from businesses across The Midlands and the North of England.
Sales of AquaVantage systems to eliminate scale have far outstripped our other non-chemical treatments for fouling, bacteria and corrosion, so it is sensible to have a service operation more directly in the area to compliment our main works in Bath.
Together with our network of engineers, our new facility will allow us to respond effectively and rapidly covering the entire area from Birmingham to the Scottish Borders".
