Manufacturers applying for a new cULus certification will receive the NOM (Normas Oficiales Mexicanas) Mark for Access to Mexico free of charge.

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has developed two tailored packages to simplify the export of lighting products around the world.

UL has developed its Global Market Access solutions to open doors to the global market.

The two packages have been developed to address the export needs of different marketplaces, offering significant advantages for those who invest.

The services help to reduce time to market by obtaining product compliance in advance.

Manufacturers applying for a new cULus certification will receive the NOM (Normas Oficiales Mexicanas) Mark for Access to Mexico free of charge.

NOM certification is compulsory for over 2000 product categories, from lighting and related components to IT and telecommunication devices, destined for the Mexican market.

Mexico is a growing market and represents the 13th largest economy in the world.

UL has been accredited by the Mexican governmental authorities as the first third-party provider of the NOM Mark.

Manufacturers applying for IECEE CB certification will receive two voluntary safety marks (the ENEC and the D Mark) for free.

The CB scheme is based on the use of CB Test certificates acting as an international passport and proof that representative samples of the product have passed tests to show compliance with the requirements of the relevant IEC standard.

The CB Scheme is accepted by over 50 countries around the world.
