Ballscrews provide precise positioning

A comprehensive range of high-precision Isel ballscrews, that give precision translation of rotational into longitudinal motion, is available from Unimatic Solutions.

A comprehensive range of high-precision Isel ballscrews, that give precision translation of rotational into longitudinal motion, is available from Unimatic Solutions Available in lengths of up to 3050mm, the range encompasses ballscrews in 16mm diameter with 2.5, 4, 5, 10 or 20mm pitch and in 25mm diameter with 5, 10 or 20mm pitch

In both instances, the ballscrews are manufactured in high-quality hardened and polished steel to give superb wear resistance and precise positioning.

Virtually any configuration is available to suit the application - with either no machining or standard machining at one end or both ends - and shaft couplings facilitate connection to shafts from 6 to 18mm diameter.

The flange bearing bush features two angular contact ball bearings in an O arrangement and the end flange bearing has a needle roller bearing.

Ballscrew nuts are also made from high quality hardened and ground steel to tight tolerances and are wear resistant.

The ballscrew nut is positioned in the mounting block and fastened with a stud screw.

The ballscrew nuts have several ball tracks with an internal ball-return system.

The adjusting screw in the mounting block allows a clearance-free adjustment between nut and spindle.

The assembly gives a repeatability of better than 0.01mm on a length of 300mm.

A lubrication option, mounted centrally on the mounting block, is also available. Request a free brochure from Unimatic Engineers ...
