Block library aids unmanned aircraft
design
Unmanned Dynamics has released the AeroSim Blockset version 1.0, a Matlab/Simulink block library for developing nonlinear aircraft models.
Unmanned Dynamics has released the AeroSim Blockset version 1.0, a Matlab/Simulink block library for developing nonlinear aircraft models In addition to aircraft dynamics and environment models, the AeroSim Blockset also provides visualisation interfaces to Microsoft Flight Simulator and FlightGear
Sample aircraft models include the North American Navion general-aviation airplane and the Aerosonde unmanned air vehicle.
The software package is free for academic and non-commercial users and it can be downloaded from the Unmanned Dynamics website.
