3D software brings new dimension to training

The CEE offers an extensive programme of computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing training, now including SpaceClaim Corporation's latest 3D design solution.

The University of Wolverhampton's Department of Engineering and Technology is the first learning institution in the Midlands to launch the SpaceClaim Corporation's latest 3D design solution software package at its Centre of Engineering Excellence (CEE).

According to Alec Gillham, Operations Manager of the West Midlands Manufacturing Club at the CEE: "SpaceClaim is an innovative application providing 3D tools that can be shared right across the product development process, not just by dedicated product designers but by suppliers, production engineers and operations management teams in a range of industry sectors, speeding time to market for new and modified products".

The CEE offers an extensive programme of computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing training and can provide a range of bespoke courses throughout the year for businesses needing to increase their capabilities.
