Alarming performance from weighing scales
Adam Equipment has introduced a new range of industrial weighing scales to suit the needs of a wide variety of industries from building supplies to electronics manufacturing.
Torque readings can now be saved with time and date, so operators will have additional information on when the test was done.
Data can be transferred with time/date, memory data editing, and improved user interface PC software.
A total of nine reading units can be adjusted.
The tester has a self-auto-zero function, which can be compensated manually by the user over time if needed.
Other features include: auto-reset; go/no-go (pass/fail) mode; and peak hold, first peak and track readings.
These units are carefully calibrated using software setup, so that no electronic or mechanical adjustment is required.
These units have a high data accuracy of 0.2% and the decimal readings can be shifted to match the accuracy of the tools being tested.
It can be used with power tools using a rundown adapter, which is provided in various formats to match the working environment.
The casing of the tester is machined from a solid block of aluminium.
The rechargeable battery allows many hours of uninterrupted use on the production line.
Models are available with ranges up to 5, 10, 50, 100 and 200kgcm.
Self-calibration instruments are also available such as torque balance arms, weight sets etc.
Update Manufacturing is planning to release more models in the near future.
Each unit comes standard with a battery charger, rundown adapter with spring, memory download software, communication cable and a strong aluminium carrying case.
