Engineers at the University of Warwick have devised a plastic shield that could play a major role in eliminating the card 'skimming' cash machine fraud that costs banks tens of millions of pounds.
The redesigned post will see Howard advise on key aspects of WMG's communications, liaising closely with senior staff in WMG and the university's communications office.
Part of Howard's role will be to assist the university's press team in enhancing WMG's media performance both in the UK and overseas.
She said: "WMG has a fantastic global reputation and I'm looking forward to using my expertise to build on that".
WMG is in the process of completing a rebranding exercise and one of Howard's first tasks will be advising on the launch and implementation of that brand and a redesigned website.
She added: "WMG helps others achieve great things through innovation".
"Our own communications tools must reflect that".
