Low cost leak testing up to 100bar test pressure
Uson Testra and Sprint leak testers are now available in new high-sensitivity versions with an increased maximum test pressure of 100 bar, said to be the highest so far offered
Its custom sealing heads can be quickly interchanged with different couplings for the full product range and a dry air pressure decay technique is used to accurately determine a precise leak rate.
Salt's Neil Wiltshire remarked "We have a commitment to producing high quality products and as such the test rig we purchased from Uson is ideal.
The machine was modified to our requirements and has proved a great success.
" Pass and Fail limits can be set at different test stages so that both fine and gross leaks are detected and measured, while bag flexing is overcome by upper and lower restriction plates coated with a porous material ensuring that the smallest leaks are not masked.
Test data can be logged to the tester or sent to external devices such as a PC, PLC or datalogger.
A unique Uson compensation/calibration with self-teach feature minimises cycle times, and test programs can include a vacuum exhaust to flatten the bag for ease of packing.
