Stable operation for humidity tester

A Vaisala product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Apr 4, 2003

A new product range is available for measuring relative humidity and associated variables in process and environmental test applications.

The Vaisala HMT320 series includes six interchangeable probes, a separate transmitter body and mounting plate.

The calibration information is contained in the probe interface so there is no need to calibrate the transmitter module when a probe is replaced.

Choice of probe depends on the environmental operating conditions and mounting requirements.

Different probe heads are suitable for use in temperatures down to -70C and up to +180C, in vacuum and pressure up to 100bar.

There is also a choice of sensors and filters available for different applications.

A chemical purge option helps to maintain accuracy and stability in environments where high concentrations of chemicals are present.

The transmitter module has a selectable range of analogue and digital outputs.

Optional output variables include dewpoint and mixing ratio.
