Adhesives add extra design flexibility

Adopting the Araldite 2000 range of adhesives for use in nearly all its furniture has given Kusch + Co extra design flexibility and enabled the company to extend its offering.

A new way of bonding materials has provided extra freedom in the design of custom-made tables and chairs for leading European contract furniture manufacturers, Kusch + Co.

Adopting Huntsman Advanced Materials' Araldite 2000 range of adhesives for use in nearly all its furniture has given Kusch + Co extra design flexibility and enabled the company to extend its offering.

Providing durable bonding for a range of materials including wood and steel, Araldite adhesives eliminate the need for screws and enable the production of hard wearing furniture, with a professional, smooth finish.

Producing approximately 350,000 chairs and tables every year, Kusch + Co specialises in furnishing projects or buildings, such as administration offices, health centres and airports.

Working closely with its customers the company replicates existing architectural styles and provides high-quality tailor-made furniture.

Araldite adhesives allow the best materials to be used and can be employed in a range of furniture applications including; plastic arms on metal tubes, plastic castors into metal tubes, wood seats on wooden frames and a variety of metal to metal applications - creating a far more efficient production process.
