'Busch used a third-generation toughened high-end resin, Araldite NanoTech Composite RTM system to produce the Nano IV one-piece hockey stick that met the most stringent demands of ice hockey players.

'The hockey stick has significantly improved resistance to fracture while other vital physical properties such as flexural modulus, temperature resistance and viscosity are not affected,' he added.

Araldite NanoTech Composite RTM is a tough, stiff material that is able to withstand shock without developing micro-cracks.

It thus makes it suitable for situations where there are parts that are exposed to high stress and impact.

It can be used in the sports and leisure sectors, and for structural applications that require a higher level of impact resistance, such as wind blades.
