The Velocity Limiting System is an option for Celesco PT9000 Series cable extension position transducers that limits cable retraction to a safe 50-60 inches per second

The new Celesco manufactured Velocity Limiting System (VLS) is an attractive option for Celesco PT9000 Series cable extension position transducers that limits cable retraction to a safe 50-60 inches per second Available from Variohm Components in Towcester, the VLS prevents cables from reaching damaging velocities during the retraction process

VLS is ideal for mobile applications that require frequent cable disconnection and reconnection.

It also prevents expensive, unscheduled downtime due to accidental cable mishandling or attachment failure.

The patent pending VLS is available for all models in the Celesco PT9000 Series having aluminium enclosures and nylon-coated cables.

The heavy-duty, industrial-grade PT9000 cable-extension transducers have a measurement range from 75" to 1700" and are easy to install.

Perfect alignment of the cable is not necessary to obtain accurate linear measurements.
