In response to the constant demand for reductions in the physical size of measuring transducers, Towcester based Variohm Components Limited are now able to offer a 10mm stroke version of the acclaimed Novotechnik TR Series.

Designated the TR10, this new unit has the same cross-section as other models in range but has an overall body length of only 91mm.

The new units still utilises the double bearing/through shaft design but also has an internal return spring.

It is supplied with a hardened steel ball gauging head as standard as the major application field far all of the TR Series is parts testing on assembly or pressing machinery.

A roller head is available as an optional extra and allows the TR10 to be used for constant monitoring of sheet thickness.

The TR10 enjoys a life expectancy of 100 million operations even at a frequency of 20Hz.

Independent linearity is 0.25% but far more importantly, the repeatability is 0.002mm, over a temperature range of -30C to +100C.
