Variohm Eurosensor has added a line of ultra-precision printed circuit resistors to its range of discrete components.
Aimed at demanding fixed-resistor applications in process control, medical electronics and high-end instrumentation, the 0.25W-rated RX255N from Precision Resistor Company is available from 0.1Ohm to 150KOhm.
Variohm EuroSensor has added a new line of ultra-precision printed circuit resistors to its range of high quality discrete components.
It has resistance-holding tolerances up to +/-0.005 per cent and temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) characteristics as low as +/-1ppm/C.
The wire wound range has a stability-versus-time factor to +/-0.001 per cent per year at 25C and works in temperatures up to 125C.
Also available are the RX258N and RX378N series ultra-precision printed circuit resistors for 0.33 and 0.5W ratings with similar technical characteristics.
All are based on a 0.2in lead spacing and feature a stress-free base coat as well as an epoxy casing that is resistant to solder heat and solvents.
Resistors have low EMF of less than 0.3 to 1.5 micro-volts per centigrade with respect to the copper terminals.
Features of the resistors include lower temperature rise per Watt, low TCR and low EMF, repeatable measurements under load, low Ohm values to one milli-ohm, closer resistance tolerances of plus/minus 0.005 per cent and operation over a wide temperature span and great stability under load.
Additional features include a variety of shapes and sizes, measurable and predictable voltage/temperature relationship piece-to-piece, high-temperature insulation and assorted diameters of pure copper lead sizes.
Capabilities also include short and long production runs, customisation to buyer specifications and no minimum quantity orders.
PRC products meet relevant DIN standards and are RoHS compliant.
NIST traceability and tape and reel services are also available.
