Vartech Systems has released a line of 10.4in panel-mount computers with NEMA 4 (IP65) and NEMA 4X (IP66) protection ratings, as well as fully sunlight-readable models.
Vartech's 10.4in panel PCs are integrated with resistive touch-screens for standalone operations.
They are equipped with high-powered Pentium processors and 1Gbyte of system memory.
The sunlight-readable, high-bright models use an LED-enhanced LCD panel with 800nits of screen brightness.
They are also optically bonded for extreme contrast enhancement in direct sunlight, as well as higher shock and vibration tolerance.
They are equipped with Vartech's hardened ultra-rugged Armortouch touch-screen system.
The 10.4in NEMA 4-rated model has a black powder-coated, sealed front bezel.
NEMA 4 protection on the front bezel means this model is protected from water splashes and airborne dust and dirt particles.
The NEMA 4X-rated models have a high-grade 316 stainless steel front bezel.
The NEMA 4X rating protects it from hose-directed water, airborne dust and dirt particles and adds corrosion protection.
