Taylor Woodrow, the international housing and development company will be recruiting both graduates and construction professionals for a variety of interesting careers at The National Construction Recruitment Exhibition (NCR) on 9th and 10th May 2003 at Wembley.

NCR is incorporated by and runs alongside The National Engineering Recruitment Exhibition (NER).

Taylor Woodrow is the sponsor of NCR and one of many exhibitors at the event who are aiming to encourage graduates, sponsored students and experienced engineers into the profession.

Alec Luhaste, Taylor Woodrow Human Resources Director commented: "Taylor Woodrow is out to attract the highest calibre individuals to our business.

We're in a unique position to offer students and professionals the chance to grow across a company which covers a business mix of market leading housing, commercial property and a top quartile construction operation".

Cathy Partington was taken on by Taylor Woodrow Construction as a sponsored engineering student.

She has now progressed from being a construction project manager, having worked on the company's mixed-used Macintosh Village development in Manchester, to gaining promotion as a senior project manager within its housing and commercial development business.

Luhaste concluded: "We're determined to become the most attractive employer within our industry by providing a safe, rewarding and enjoyable environment for all employees".

The National Construction Recruitment Exhibition is part of the wider exhibition - The National Engineering Recruitment Exhibition - where other exhibitors also include AMEC Rail, Balfour Beatty Rail, Nissan Technical Centre Europe, Parsons Brinckerhoff, RAF, the Teacher Training Agency and TTP Group.

All exhibitors are actively seeking a range of seasoned and graduate engineers.
