Waterman Group will join Taylor Woodrow in cosponsoring the new National Construction Recruitment Exhibition (NCR) to be held at Wembley, London on 9th and 10th May 2003.

Waterman Group will join Taylor Woodrow in cosponsoring the new National Construction Recruitment Exhibition (NCR) to be held at Wembley, London on 9th and 10th May 2003.

NCR is supported by the Construction Industry Council and the Institution of Structural Engineers and will be incorporated within the National Engineering Recruitment Exhibition (NER).

NCR is launching in direct response to industry demand.

The organisers of NCR and NER have identified recruitment issues in the construction sector as a key influence in addressing the shortage of skills across the engineering industry as a whole.

Waterman Group, the multidisciplined engineering and environmental consultants, has large regeneration projects taking place across the country and is looking to recruit a number of experienced engineers, personnel and enthusiastic graduates.

Alex Burton, Director, Waterman Group commented: "Waterman Group is looking forward to seeing the best possible candidates in the construction industry.

With positions available in civil and structural engineering we are able to offer challenging and rewarding prospects to all successful candidates.

The Group is currently working on a wide range of projects from major city centre regeneration, commercial, retail, residential and transportation engineering".

NCR and NER will also feature AMEC Rail, Balfour Beatty Rail, Boehringer Ingelheim, Grant Rail, KBR, London Borough of Camden, Nissan Technical Centre Europe, RAF, Royal Navy, The Teacher Training Agency and TTP Group.

All exhibitors are actively seeking a range of seasoned and graduate engineers.

Alec Luhaste, Taylor Woodrow Human Resources Director commented: "Taylor Woodrow is out to attract the highest calibre individuals to our business".

"We're in a unique position to offer students and professionals the chance to grow across a company which covers a business mix of market leading housing, commercial property and a top quartile construction operation".
