The largest engineering and construction recruitment event in the UK offers visitors an exciting choice of opportunities with a wide variety of well-known and prestigious organisations
The National Engineering and Construction Recruitment Exhibition (NECR), at the NEC, Birmingham on 11th and 12th May 2007, will offer a vast range of excellent career opportunities, with hundreds of roles for the thousands of experienced professionals and graduates expected to attend.
NECR, the largest engineering and construction recruitment event in the UK, offers visitors an exciting choice of opportunities with a wide variety of well-known and prestigious organisations.
The positions on offer cover all areas of the industry from aerospace, automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, process and defence to construction, civil and structural engineering and facilities management.
Many leading employers will be actively recruiting at the two day exhibition including: Aker Kvaerner, Alstom, Amey, BAE Systems, Bechtel, E.ON UK, General Dynamics, GlaxoSmithKline, Honda, MW Kellogg, Schlumberger, Technip, Thales, Transport for London and Zurich.
Visitors will also find many advisory services to help them in their job search.
They can take advantage of: a Careers Advice Clinic; one-on-one advice at the CV Clinic to ensure their CV is designed to make maximum impact; and an Interview Clinic offering help with interview techniques.
The event also offers the chance to participate in a series of presentations by various organisations.
The Women in Engineering Forum is an opportunity to hear successful female engineers talking about their careers and to network with potential employers over a buffet lunch.
The forum has been specifically designed to encourage and assist women to discover the wealth of employment opportunities available in the engineering sector, and to offer practical advice on developing a successful career in this field.
The forum is completely free.
In the University Challenge, teams from universities across the country will compete against each other to design, build and test their inventions in a challenging task.
