Extend CAD to store additional design data
Vistagy has announced the release of EnCapta software, which enables engineers to capture complex non-geometric design data and store it associatively with the CAD geometry
Data that are vital for complete product definition are captured and managed as objects and linked associatively to the relevant CAD geometry.
XML tools in EnCapta extract information from the CAD model and export it to other systems and databases.
The NASA Tech Briefs Product of the Month feature showcases new products of exceptional technical merit and practical value to engineering and management readers.
Readers vote yearly to select one of these twelve products as Product of the Year for the Readers' Choice Awards.
