Vistagy will show off its software for designing and manufacturing products made of advanced composite materials at the Catia Operators Exchange Fall 2003 Conference and TechniFair.

Vistagy will show off its software for designing and manufacturing products made of advanced composite materials at the Catia Operators Exchange (COE) Fall 2003 Conference and TechniFair The event runs from 28th September to 1st October 2003 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Centre in Seattle, Washington

Visitors to the Vistagy booth (213) will see demonstrations of FiberSIM software and learn about many customer applications for the company's technology for composite part design.

In particular, visitors will have the opportunity to examine a full-sized replica of the composite nosebox for the Renault F1 Team R23 racing car.

Renault F1 Team uses FiberSIM software to design and manufacture composite body parts for their award-winning racing cars.

Alan Duerden, CAD Support Engineer for Renault F1 Team, will be on hand in the Vistagy booth during the TechniBash on Monday 29th September from 1800 to 2100 to answer questions.

Duerden is also scheduled to give a presentation detailing how the Renault F1 Team develops composite racing cars using FiberSIM and Catia.

The title of his presentation is "Renault F1 Team on developing composite racecars in 6 months".

He will speak on Monday 29th September from 1350 to 1430 in Room 607 of the Washington State Conference Centre.
