LATI will continue to represent Victrex Europa's business interests in Spain and Portugal.
In Eire and Northern Ireland PEEK polymer will now be sold through Dell polymers, based in Longford, Eire.
Specialists in the distribution of engineering plastics, Dell Polymers will ensure a qualified service throughout this region and, together with Victrex, expects this to bring considerable benefits to customers and processors.
On 1 October, Mape Plastics took over distribution of Peek polymer in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Mape Plastics, which has a strong focus on the sales and market development of high performance polymers, combines extensive experience of Peek polymer with a comprehensive knowledge of the Scandinavian market.
The company replaces Distrupol who represented the interests of Victrex Europa in Scandinavia until September 30 this year.
Further market expansion comes with a recently signed agreement between Victrex and Novadim, a Belgian company headquartered in Brussels.
Novadim is a specialised distributor of plastics in the Middle East, Russia and Africa and, with the exception of Israel, will undertake the sales and market development for Peek polymer in these regions.
Victrex plc, which has its sales, technical and production headquarters at Thornton Cleveleys in Lancashire, UK, had a turnover of more than £58m in the last financial year.
The company exports 98 percent of its Victrex Peek polymer output to OEMs in the automotive, industrial, medical, food and electronics market sectors in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
