At Fakuma 2002 next month Victrex will showcase its recently introduced Victrex Peek-HT polymer for extreme heat applications.

With a glass transition temperature of 157C and a melting temperature of 374C, Victrex Peek-HT polymer extends the high temperature performance of the company's natural Peek polymer.

Available in powder or granules, this latest addition to the Victrex Peek portfolio also offers the polymer's inherent exceptional toughness, strength, chemical resistance and low flammability.

The development of Victrex Peek-HT polymer offers manufacturers unique opportunities to maximize the performance and the value of a wide variety of applications for extreme environments.

These include automotive under-the-bonnet components, aircraft exterior and interior parts, wire and cable insulation, industrial valve linings and heat exchanger parts.

The Fakuma exhibition provides an ideal forum to demonstrate the strengths of Victrex Peek polymer in application and market development.

At the show the company will highlight its strengths in leading edge application development across all key industries, including automotive, aerospace, electronics, industrial, medical and food processing.
