Victrex releases T-Series polymer brochure

A Victrex product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Dec 12, 2008

T-Series polymers from Victrex offer a solution for applications requiring superior high-temperature resistance, compressive, tensile and flexural strength and low fatigue properties.

A technical brochure from Victrex highlights the key features of these proprietary blended products based on Victrex PEEK polymer and Celazole polybenzimidazole (PBI).

To illustrate the products' superior mechanical performance versus other polymers, the brochure includes a variety of charts and graphs comparing wear and strength properties up to 300C (572F).

Victrex T-Series polymers are high-performing melt processable thermoplastics for use in applications requiring physical property retention and wear resistance at elevated temperatures.

The brochure highlights the products' tribology and resistance to a range of extreme environments that typically degrade most plastics.

Also included is a description of each grade, typical industry applications, properties chart, recommendations for injection moulding, and guidelines for machining.
