Vitronic has appointed a new UK Sales Manager for its Logistics Division.
Vitronic has appointed a new UK Sales Manager for its Logistics Division.
He is Malcolm Smith, an engineer with over 20 years experience of the logistics industry, and parcel handling in particular.
Smith has moved from his previous employer, another well known company in the parcel handling business, to take up this new position.
Vitronic specialises in providing advanced technological solutions to a broad range of markets, such as logistics, traffic control and body scanning.
Its products incorporate the latest in machine vision equipment and software to resolve a wide range of issues.
In a busy warehouse or post depot, maintaining control of what parcels are going in and out is essential, Vipac is Vitronic's answer.
It comprises a system that uses extensive image processing, to provide a state-of-the-art solution for multi-sided packet identification.
Offering a 100% read rate and up to 20 times faster than conventional barcode scanners, it makes parcel tracking easy.
Malcolm Smith is the new face of Vitronic for this product.
