He Vipa Touchcontrol Panel can sustain harsh industrial environments and the compact design is suited for operation in space restricted areas with horizontal or vertical mounting.
Vipa's automation range includes modular Din rail and PC slot mounting products with performance levels and application suitability from small and simple machine control to extremely complex process control capability.
The System 300S and 500S PLCs include the Speed 7 CPU - claimed to be the fastest rail mounted Step 7 programmable controller in the world - with a minimum cycle time of just 100us, and with support for the Siemens' Step 7 instruction set plus a scalable memory from 64K to 16Mbit.
Each range in the system summary brochure is detailed with a colour coding index highlighting CPUs, memory expansion capability, Fieldbus expansion modules, communications processors, digital and analogue I/O modules and power supplies.
The Touchpanel HMI range is also covered detailing the family of six touchscreen models with a choice of monochrome or colour displays in panel sizes of 14.5, 16.3 and 21.3cm.
The range includes options for Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 with Zenon 6.20 operating system or Movicon X CE Runtime visualisation software and a selection of Fieldbus interface options, USB and serial communications ports.
Software systems covered include Vipa's WinPLC 7 programming software and simulation tool which may be used as an alternative to Siemens Step 7.
Other software detailed includes parameterisation tools for TCP/IP, Profibus-DP, Canopen Master, OP3 and TD03.
There are also details of software for data exchange, analysis, labelling, library files and device drivers for the complete range.
A list of accessories is covered in a separate section with details of programming, download and Profibus-DP cable, memory modules and Profibus-DP diagnostic equipment.
