ACI - Automated Components Ireland is part of the PAK Automation Group, established in County Dublin in 1983 with interests in packaging automation and robotics through its subsidiary companies PAK Automation and Automation and Robotics Ireland.
ACI is headed by David Downes, who has gained an extensive knowledge of manufacturing automation with major projects involving Kawasaki and Toshiba robots.
The newly formed company aims to combine the technologies of its sister companies with the supply and support of a wide range of automation solutions from components level products through to SCADA and complete factory automation systems.
Engineering Automation Solutions, based in County Limerick, has an extensive knowledge in manufacturing processes and offer a complete systems integration service for automated manufacture and test, electrical controls and information systems.
Engineering Automation Solutions Directors Michael Beston and Richard Stapleton formed the company from over 30 years combined experience in engineering and management of high-technology production and information system projects.

The extensive Vipa product range includes modular DIN rail and PC slot mounted, centralised and decentralised, PLC automation systems with performance capability ranging from low-cost entry level to full featured, price-competitive advanced machine control systems.
Fundamental to Vipa's control solution range is its built-in compatibility with Siemens S5 and S7 hardware and programming compatibility with Step7 software; allowing easy integration for new or existing control applications - competitively and with a minimal product learning curve.
Each range has a selection of CPUs with memory expansion, field bus modules, digital and analogue I/O modules and terminals.
Complete software support, a range of touch screen HMIs and an extensive array of accessories combine to support simplified integration.
The Vipas 300S combines Speed7 processor technology with Siemens S7-300 hardware compatibility and is the fastest Step7 programmed PLC available today.
