Colour screen HMI takes on ultra-fast
PLC

He Vipa Touchcontrol Panel can sustain harsh industrial environments and the compact design is suited for operation in space restricted areas with horizontal or vertical mounting.

Available now, the Vipa Touchcontrol Panel range combines a family of 8.4 to 12.1in SVGA colour screen HMIs with the ultra-fast Speed7 PLC to provide a single HMI and logic programming environment that is powerful enough to handle small to medium sized automation tasks Speed7 technology is the fastest hard PLC available in the world and programmable from Vipa's own WinPLC7 or from Siemens Step7

The integration of PLC and HMI also provides an expandable battery backed work memory up to 512Kbyte and support for MMC cards for program and data storage.

Communication includes RS232 and RS485/RS422 serial interfaces in addition to CAN, Profibus-DP, USB and Ethernet options guaranteeing straightforward adaptation in almost all applications.

Ethernet TCP/IP is also available for central data saving and data exchange with superior server clients and USB-A and -B interfaces are provided for access to standard office peripherals such as printers and keyboards or for adapters for Bluetooth or Wireless LAN.

Available with rear panel, 35mm DIN rail expansion of analogue and digital I/O, relays and counters from Vipa's 100V and 200V control systems, Vipa's Touchcontrol Panel is delivered with a choice of Windows CE 5.0 or Windows CE 5.0 Professional Plus operating systems and zenOn 6.21 or MoviconX program editors.
