Vibtech was honoured by a visit from Nicol Stephen, Scottish Parliament Deputy First Minister, at a recent exhibition in Moscow.

The company was exhibiting its ground-breaking Unite cable free remote data acquisition and transmission system at the Neftegaz 2006 exhibition and conference, and John Flavell Smith of Vibtech explained the workings of the system to Stephen.

Flavell Smith said: "We were honoured that Mr Stephen took time out from his busy schedule at the show to come and visit our stand and find out more about our products".

"He certainly seemed interested in the successful tests we have undertaken with Unite and, because we are based in Scotland, was eager to learn more about Vibtech as a company".

"Neftegaz 2006 was a hugely successful event for us and raised awareness of our product portfolio among key players in the oil and gas industry of Russia and the FSU".

"We certainly attracted a high level of interest and will be looking to build on that in the future".
