Viking Johnson has made new appointments to support sales and marketing initiatives.

This further displays the commitment shown by the company to provide truly customer-centric service.

The European sales force has been doubled by the arrival of Regional Sales Managers Serge Tureau and Nick Rowe.

Tureau will be using his multilingual skills in France, Spain, Italy and Portugal, whereas Rowe will serve markets in Greece and the EU accession countries.

This is in addition to the appointment of Tim Gardiner, now Marketing Communications Officer.

Gardiner will support the sales team and worldwide network of Viking Johnson distributors, providing consistent corporate communications to strengthen customer relations.

Peter Hoogsteden retains his role in Benelux and Scandinavia, and Frits Berben now represents the company in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

European customer service is provided from the UK head office, where new staff members Lucy Byrne and Anneka Schorken strengthen the Viking Johnson CRM function by providing local language support for Germanic speaking regions.

Martin Topps, Marketing Director of Viking Johnson, said: "Offering quality customer service is of paramount importance to us".

"We are happy to have new customer service and sales and marketing managers who will be using their experience in the relevant fields to lead our expanding customer service and marketing teams".
