Three-year calibration contract covers the calibration of all flowmeters and instrumentation at the Ronseal Thorncliffe Park site in Sheffield UK.

UK flowmeter specialist Stream Measurement of Oldham has recently secured a three-year calibration contract with Ronseal of Sheffield for the calibration of all flowmeters and instrumentation at the Thorncliffe Park site in Sheffield UK.

Ronseal is a wholly owned subsidiary of the international paint manufacturer, the Sherwin-Williams Company, which is based in Cleveland, Ohio and is the world's largest coatings company.

Stream will calibrate 60 flowmeters on-site and project partner Arena Instrumentation will look after the rest of the instruments: this includes level devices, load cells, transducers, transmitters and pressure gauges.

Plant downtime reduction is at the core of the service, the Stream team work closely with the client to fit in and around production shifts at the Sheffield facility.

With Ronseal's proactive approach to calibration and Stream's logistic and flowmeter experience, the new contract should ensure a measured production facility for Ronseal over the coming years.

Andy Maber, a Director of Stream says of the contract award: "We are so pleased to have won this contract; Ronseal's approach to calibration exactly fits with our company ethos of solutions provision and we are confident the service we provide is the best there is in the UK calibration market".
