Autosport International Show visitors will have a unique opportunity to see "under the skin" of the JCB Dieselmax world land speed vehicle.

Visioneering, the engineering supplier for the JCB Dieselmax world land speed vehicle, will give Autosport International Show visitors a unique opportunity to see "under the skin" of this amazing 563km/h record setter The JCB Dieselmax speedster will be the centrepiece display on the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) stand at the event

The vehicle is the actual racer that set a new diesel-powered world land speed record at Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah on 22nd August 2006.

For the first time at a public event, the cockpit and upper bodywork of the JCB Dieselmax will be lifted to display the internals of the vehicle.

A number of personnel from Visioneering will be on hand to explain the design and development of the JCB Dieselmax, including John Piper, Chief Designer for this project and Brian, Horner, Chief Executive.

Visioneering was responsible for the mechanical design and construction of the car including the chassis and bodyshell, a unique braking system, the suspension and steering, and all of the associated vehicle systems, cooling, lubrication, electronic control, data logging and engine and transmission installations.

The JCB Dieselmax display at Autosport International Show will showcase the work of the company in developing engineering solutions for this unique vehicle.

Horner says: "We're very proud to be displaying the JCB Dieselmax at this event".

"As the world's biggest motorsport show, it is a special opportunity for us to share this British achievement with the thousands of race fans that visit it, as well as promoting our expertise to the industry".

"I would like to thank JCB for allowing us to exhibit the race car; we are privileged to work with such a great British company and showcase the best of our engineering on a global platform".
