Ott and Liblong take senior positions

Leading UK energy company RWE Innogy has installed Verano's Performux real-time plant intelligence software platform at three of its coal-fired power stations in the UK.
"Breen's extensive experience in enterprise application development, coupled with his strong business aptitude, will allow us to expand our solutions which help companies meet secure data access and management demands of critical industrial operations".
Most recently, Ott was chief financial officer at GlobalNetwork Technology Services, a networking consulting company based in Houston, Texas.
He assembled and managed a global finance and administration infrastructure and helped prepare the company for IPO.
Previously, Ott spent about 10 years overseas, holding positions as a Financial Controller for the Australian subsidiary of Honeywell Bull, Director of Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis at Groupe Bull's Paris headquarters and European financial controller for Cabletron, based in the UK.
Ott holds a BS degree in mathematics, as well as an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
Liblong joins Verano with more than 18 years of technology and executive management experience in the creation of Internet search and enterprise product technologies.
He most recently served as Director for Personal Search at AltaVista Company, a world leader in search technology.
There, Liblong built and led teams that developed a number of speciality Internet search products for AltaVista, including News and Directory Search.
He also oversaw the Canadian engineering operations of AltaVista, and was Chief Information Architect in charge of AltaVista's expansion into the portal arena.
Before joining AltaVista, Liblong was President of PiperCreek Software, a software development company that consulted extensively with AltaVista in the development of several key search technologies.
Previously, he led a number of joint venture teams with the Alberta Research Council that developed advanced technology products, including intelligent map conversion systems, automated fault detection and diagnosis systems, and an intelligent power monitoring system.
Liblong holds BSc and MSc degrees from the University of Calgary.
