A Verderflex product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 31, 2002

Verder describes the Genie as a new concept in pumping technology.

The Genie incorporates all the benefits of a Verderflex hose pump in a portable, all-in-one unit with digital controls.

Built around a Verderflex VF10 pump head, the Genie features an IP54 motor with gearbox and is ideal for dosing and metering applications.

Capable of providing accurate flow control without troublesome valves, the unit can be programmed either locally, via its built-in control panel, or remotely via a personal computer.

Genie offers: a dosing range from zero up to 120 litre/h; EHEDG certification for food hygiene; remote control as standard; no damage to shear sensitive liquids; dry running capability; abrasion resistance (maximum solid size is 5mm); differential pressure up to 14bar; dry suction lift up to 9.5m; no viscosity limits; no valves or glands; easy cleaning - product only comes into contact with the hose; bidirectional operation; and a variety of hose materials.
