The Water Research Centre needed a pump that would provide an accurate and repeatable dosing rate in order to carry out tests on lime slurry.
The Water Research Centre, a leading global organisation involved in the research of techniques used in the water and waste industry, needed a pump that would provide an accurate and repeatable dosing rate in order to carry out tests on lime slurry.
The centre approached Verder which, after careful consideration, recommended the Verderflex VF32 pump: the Verderflex pump range is used extensively in the dosing of lime slurry and has proved itself an excellent solution to this often difficult and messy problem.
The Verderflex range provides accurate dosing as well as having the ability to handle solids and run dry.
Its hose is proven to give a long life thus reducing maintenance and lifetime costs.
The trial was a success and the Water Research Centre is now confident that a peristaltic pump is an excellent way of pumping lime slurry.
