The production of the Verderflex Smart peristaltic tube pump is being moved from its present location in the Verder group in Germany to the UK.

The production of the Verderflex Smart peristaltic tube pump is being moved from its present location in the Verder group in Germany to the UK.

The product will be produced alongside the successful Verderflex industrial hose pump and sold throughout the world through the established distribution network that already services the Verderflex product.

The Verderflex Smart product has already generated a lot of interest with its tool free single hand facility for tube replacement.

Tube replacement is executed by releasing a ski boot type hinged clamp that opens the top of the pump body, full interlocks with the drive are incorporated and the design represents a step change on old style units that employ screw, bolt and spring fastenings.

Options are available covering basic stand-alone manual control through to fully integrated control with computer interfaces.

All units have variable speed control as standard but the pump head can be fitted to traditional geared motor drives from independent suppliers widening the scope of application and allowing ATEX compliant installations to be serviced.
