Pumps are optimised for dosing duties
A revolutionary performance engineered device is claimed to be the most advanced peristaltic pump design on the market today.
Global peristaltic pump specialist, Verder, has launched a revolutionary performance engineered pump - Verderflex Dura - claimed to be the most advanced peristaltic pump design on the market today The Verderflex Dura is a new generation of hose pumps (named Dura 10, Dura 15 and Dura 25), which have exceptional dosing features

Pumps offer quiet operation
The Dura series of peristaltic pumps has an ultra-compact construction, which reduces the floor space required by up to 70%.
Integrated pump ideal for dosing
Verder describes the Genie as a new concept in pumping technology.
Created for use in industries such as brewing, ceramics, chemicals, manufacturing, mining and water and waste, Verderflex Dura is based on a torque-coupled design offering a range of benefits including an extremely small footprint (up to 70% less plant real estate than other pumps), high energy efficiency and low capital installation costs.
Rigorous testing by the company shows it has high performance and reliability levels allowing users to maximise uptime, and its fewer system components reduces both maintenance time and repair costs.
James Gooder, Product Development Engineer at Verder, says: "Verderflex Dura has been designed to incorporate a number of features such as the unique torque-coupled design that gives greater reliability and therefore lower maintenance costs".

Pump hose gives longer service life
Hypalon has recently been added to the range of Verderflex hose materials.
"And with operational noise levels reduced by nearly a quarter, Verderflex Dura also offers important health and safety benefits and reduced liability".
With a solid rotor design that requires no shims, Verderflex Dura uses dramatically less power consumption than other pumps, and its energy rating of Eff1 (below 1.1kW) provides much lower capital running costs.
The Dura pump's reduced operating temperature significantly improves hose life.
It has an improved frame design and a new function of a "one sise fits all" single-piece taper-lock flange connection, which speeds up hose change and meets the requirements of ANSI, JIS and DIN PN16.
Verderflex Dura offers high levels of accuracy (+/-3%) and repeatability (+/-1%), particularly where there is a need for difficult media to be moved, such as by-products or high-viscosity liquids, it can handle up to 80% solid content for products with a high concentration of dense matter.
It also has the ability to pump at high pressure - displacing up to 12bar, and still holds rigid when tested to pressures in excess of 30bar.
Gooder adds: "We're really excited about Verderflex Dura and are confident that demand will be high".
"Its launch demonstrates our constant investment in both innovation and application technology".
