VTI Technologies has been selected as the supplier of low-g accelerometers for electronic stability control (ESP/ESC) and active suspension systems to the most significant car manufacturers in Korea.

Deliveries of VTI's SCA610 and SCA620 series single-axis accelerometers have already started and the first cars are rolling out from the assembly lines.

VTI is the leading low-g accelerometer supplier for four-wheel-drive ABS systems in Korea.

This new business for the new application strengthens VTI's position in the dynamic Korean automotive market and also leads the way to further expansion and new applications.

"We have co-operated with Korean part manufacturers and system suppliers for several years".

"Our first applications were for ABS systems and these new applications are in vehicle stability and suspension".

"The Korean car manufacturers are implementing new features into their car models very fast".

"They rely on proven technology for the most critical parts like sensors as well as on global suppliers like VTI", says Hannu Laatikainen, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, VTI Technologies.
