VTI forms joint-venture company in China

VTI Technologies has, together with Professor Gao Guowei, founded a joint venture company called Beijing Orisens Co in Beijing, China.

VTI Technologies has, together with Professor Gao Guowei, founded a joint venture company called Beijing Orisens Co (BOC) in Beijing, China The company combines VTI's sensor technology with Professor Gao Guowei's know-how on accurate sensor applications

It will develop, manufacture and sell products that measure inclination and vibration for the industry and consumers in China.

One of the applications is a baby heart rate monitor.

VTI's ownership of the company is 76.22 % and Professor Gao's company, Beijing Basic Elec Sensor Co, has 23.78 % of the shares.

Company's office and production premises are situated in the neighbourhood of Beijing Information and Technology University (BITI).

Professor Gao Guowei acts as General Manager of the joint-venture company.

"He has the first doctoral thesis on sensors in China and an impressive experience and track record".

"He is also an inventor and holder of several inventions and patents of the field".
